a dog and a cat were 12m apart initially when the dog started to chase the cat(you noe,normal rxn-dog sees cat,dog chase cat)
for every 7m the dog runs,the cat runs 4m onli
so how far muz the dig run in order to catch up wif the cat?

the ratio of dist. ran by dog to cat is 7:4
so the difference is 3 units
3 units= 12m
1 unit= 4m
so the dog has 7 units,which is equal to 28m.
yeah!dats my ans!anyone who noe how to solve tis???tell me i'm right! =S
